About Cedar Mountain Fire/Rescue, Inc.

Cedar Mountain Volunteer Fire/Rescue, Inc. is located in the Cedar Mountain Community of Transylvania County, North Carolina, 12 miles South of Brevard, the County Seat, along US Highway 276 South. We are approximately 40 miles Southeast of Asheville, North Carolina and 45 miles North Of Greenville, South Carolina. Our service district is rural and covers approximately 30 square miles and 43.1 miles of roads. Our service district includes the communities of Cedar Mountain, Caesar's Head, Cliff Ridge Colony, Tutherside and Witherspoon Hill, the DuPont State Forest, Caesar's Head State Park, and YMCA Camp Greenville.
